A dear friend of mine, Ileana, has been going through an incredibly difficult season. Her health has declined to the point where working consistently is no longer possible, and as a result she’s struggling just to cover the basics. Most days she’s scraping together whatever she can to afford the bare minimum for food, and she has nothing left to care for her health.

Ileana is facing a number of serious medical challenges—diabetes, gland issues, blood clots throughout her body, hemorrhaging concerns, and ongoing liver and gut complications. She needs regular checkups, medication, and essential items for her home, but right now those things are simply out of reach. On top of that, she had to borrow money just to get through the winter months, and she’s now trying to find a way to repay what she owes.

This fundraiser is simply an effort to help her get back on her feet, regain some stability, and receive the care she urgently needs. There is absolutely no obligation—anything given comes from the kindness of one’s heart, and that alone is a blessing.
