Ikeyona Rivers Bowie was the youngest member of the Canopy Memphis Downtown TEAM, known for her bright spirit and unwavering dedication. Though small in stature, she had a presence that could light up any room, and her hard work left a lasting impression on everyone she met. On Saturday night, Ikeyona’s life was tragically cut short on I-240, the victim of a senseless act of violence. Her sudden passing has left her family and community in deep shock and grief.


Ikeyona’s Aunt Angelica is now handling the funeral arrangements and will be receiving the funds raised. The family is facing urgent financial needs to cover funeral expenses and to support Ikeyona’s six younger siblings, all under the age of six. Ikeyona was their sole provider, having recently secured her first apartment and working overtime to create a stable, loving home for them. Every decision she made was for her siblings’ well-being, and her loss has left them without their caregiver and protector.
