As many of you may know, Igor was recently involved in a terrible accident. He was caught in a fire when scalding hot liquid splashed over much of his body, including both arms, both legs, his torso, his back, and parts of his face. By some miracle, the fire did not damage his throat or lungs internally.

Igor is now suffering from burns over 50% of his body, ranging from first to third degree. Doctors have told us that his recovery will be long and incredibly difficult. He is expected to remain in the burn unit for about two months, and during that time he will need to undergo multiple skin graft surgeries, beginning this Thursday. Each procedure comes with risks, and even after the surgeries are complete, his healing journey will be far from over, the road ahead will be filled with pain, rehabilitation, and a long period of recovery.

Igor has always been such a kind-hearted, caring person who shows up for the people around him. Now it is our turn to show up for him.
