Support Ignacio and His Daughters in Crisis

Hi I’m Ignacio. Single parent of 2 beautiful girls. I’m lucky to have healthy girls but unfortunately I am being forced into bankruptcy due to so many unforeseen expenses including a hit and run car accident. I lost my job in 2023 and have not been able to find an equivalent position since then. The company I worked for as a supervisor for 7 years is relocating to Minnesota and I want to remain in San Diego because my daughter’s lives are in California. Claire is 14 and Aria is 6 years old. If I leave the state for a job, then I won’t be able to see them more than a couple times a year. I would like to avoid that at all costs. I want to thank everyone in advance for any donation amount. I am asking for the money to file bankruptcy and wipe my debt so I can start over. I have been threatened with an eviction notice and I keep getting denied when I apply to any smaller apartment I can find in the area.

I have over $100,000 of tax and credit card debt and I still need $2000 to pay for the court and lawyer fees in order to file for bankruptcy. The lawyer will help me wipe my debt, so I can restore my credit and move to a new home before I get forced out of my apartment.
