My name is Roderick Thomas, and I’m the owner of IDENTITYATL, a sneaker and streetwear store I built from the ground up in Atlanta. This store isn’t backed by investors or a large company—it’s the result of years of sacrifice, long nights, and putting everything I had into chasing a dream.

Over the past year, I’ve faced setback after setback. Like many small business owners, I’ve fought through rising costs, debt, and slow periods just to keep the doors open. Every dollar I’ve earned has gone right back into keeping this dream alive.

Recently, that fight became even harder. A U-Haul truck crashed into my storefront, causing significant damage and giving thieves the opportunity to steal thousands of dollars worth of merchandise. In a matter of minutes, years of hard work were impacted.

I’m raising funds to help replace the stolen inventory, repair the damage, strengthen the security of the store, and keep IDENTITYATL moving forward. This isn’t about starting over—it’s about refusing to let one terrible moment erase everything I’ve worked so hard to build.
