ICE presence in the Minneapolis area has led to thousands of immigrant families hiding in their homes, unable to safely access food or go to work. Many families are living in fear, and the need for basic supplies and financial support has never been greater. Our objective is to source food and raise funds for the food and supplies ICE-affected families need. We buy, deliver, and drop off supplies to organizations with a registry of families that cannot leave their homes out of fear of ICE presence. Currently, we’re dropping off food to the DHH Church in South Minneapolis, where 20,000 families and growing have registered to receive food assistance during this crisis.
Funds raised will be specifically used for two priorities in the following order: First, to purchase food items—both perishable and non-perishable—for families in need. We source these items from Costco, Sam’s Club, or Walmart and deliver them directly to organizations such as DHH Church that serve ICE-affected families. Second, funds will be used for rental assistance for families who cannot attend their employment out of fear of ICE activity. By providing these essentials, we hope to ease the burden on families facing uncertainty and hardship.
Your support will help us provide food and rental assistance to families in crisis. Please consider donating and sharing this fundraiser to help us reach more families in need. Every contribution makes a difference and brings hope to those who need it most.
