COMUNICADO A LOS OYENTES.
En estos momentos difíciles queremos comunicarnos con los oyentes para pediros apoyo. Ibiza Sonica se está jugando la continuidad y creemos que deberíais saberlo. La situación del COVID19 está afectando a nuestro sector de una manera muy crítica y a Sonica en especial, ya que nuestros ingresos literalmente se han congelado, pero sin embargo tenemos más audiencia que nunca. Por esto consideramos que debemos apelar a vosotros como una opción para poder afrontar el futuro inmediato. Los oyentes. Los Sónicos.
Nuestra relación con vosotros, los oyentes, siempre ha sido muy especial. Nos habéis contado historias increíbles de sensaciones que habéis vivido gracias a nuestra programación; nos habéis contado lo que ha supuesto nuestra propuesta diaria en vuestras vidas. Recibir ese cariño ha sido nuestro motor para continuar ofreciendo nuestra visión de la música y la vida, y compartirla con vosotros durante estos 14 años.
Ahora más que nunca Ibiza Sonica necesita el apoyo de los oyentes.
Durante estos años, nuestro sistema de financiación nos ha permitido emitir sin pausas publicitarias y ofrecer una programación independiente. Esta financiación estaba compuesta por una serie de marcas a las que se le brindaban servicios relacionados con la promoción de eventos. En estos momentos esas marcas no pueden realizar eventos ni inversiones publicitarias, por lo que nos encontramos en una difícil situación de continuidad. Hemos sido y somos el canal de productores, DJ’s, promotoras, y establecimientos que han decidido comunicarse con vosotros a través de nuestro medio. La situación del sector ahora es complicada e incierta.
Por eso y en estos momentos difíciles nos sinceramos con los Sónicos, incluyendo la posibilidad de recibir ayuda económica en formato de donativo. A partir de ahora veras un botón de donativo GoFundMe para que te sientas libre de donar, o no, según tus circunstancias.
De esta manera podremos afrontar el sostenimiento de la radio durante 2020, realizando el pago a los empleados, impuestos, servidores o el mantenimiento de los estudios y su contenido, entre otros tantos costes que requiere. Con esta recaudación pretendemos mantenernos vivos con servicios mínimos durante todo el año, con la esperanza de que poco a poco, las marcas y clientes habituales, comiencen a realizar nuevas inversiones en comunicación y de este modo, podamos reincorporar nuestra plantilla al 100% y seguir trabajando juntos para traeros lo mejor de nuestra radio y de la industria de la música electrónica. El coste de nuestros empleados con servicios mínimos hasta fin de año es de 61.000 €, de servidores y aspectos técnicos 6.600 € y de mantenimiento de la actividad musical y del estudio 22.000 €. Los 80.000 € podrán amortiguar gran parte de estos gastos, con la esperanza de poder ingresar el resto que sea necesario de clientes que reactiven su actividad.
A partir de ahora podrás sentir, más que nunca, que eres parte de Sonica y que gracias a ti, la radio sigue sonando.

A MESSAGE TO OUR LISTENERS
In these difficult times we want to reach out to our listeners to ask for your support. Ibiza Sonica is fighting to survive and we think that you should know. The COVID19 situation is critically affecting our industry and at Sonica we literally have no money coming in yet our audience has increased. This is why we believe we should call out to you, the listerners, the sonicos, to have the option to be able to face the future .
Our relationship with you the listeners has always been pretty special. You have told us incredible stories of the great times you’ve experienced thanks to our programs over the last 14 years. Of how what we do every day has meant something in your lives. It is your affection that has been our inspiration to carry on offering our vision of music and life and to share it with you .
Now more than ever Ibiza Sonica needs the support of the listeners.
For years the business model of Ibiza Sonica has enabled us to broadcast without commercial breaks and to offer independent programming. We were financed by providing event promotion and other services to various brands and clients. At the moment, these brands cannot pay for publicity and so we find ourselves in a situation where it is very difficult to carry on. We have always been the channel for producers, DJs, promoters and venues who have chosen to reach you through our medium. Right now the situation for the entertainment industry is complicated and uncertain.
This is why in these difficult times we are opening up to you , the Sonicos, the chance to help out via donations. As from now, you will see a donation button for GoFundMe and PayPal if you feel able to donate or not, according to your own circumstances.
In this way we will be able to keep the radio going in 2020, and deal with expenses like staff payments, taxes, servers and the maintenance of our studio and its contents , and the many other costs involved in the day to day running of the station. We hope that this collection will allow us to operate with the bare minimum of services throughout the year, and that, little by little , our regular clients and brands will start to spend again on communications and in this way , we can bring back our full team and carry on working together to bring you the best of our radio and the electronic music industry. To pay our employees to operate a basic service until the end of the year will cost €61,000 , servers and technical expenses are around €6,600 and another €22,000 to maintain the studio and equipment . The €80,000 will pay for a large part of these expenses , with the hope that the rest can be covered by returning clients resuming business.
As from now, you will be able to feel more a part of Sonica than ever as, thanks to you , the radio can keep on playing. The people’s radio.
