Ian and I met a few years ago through a mutual friend, and we’ve been close ever since. He’s the kind of person who always puts others before himself, and his kindness has touched many people in our community. Unfortunately, Ian has faced a series of hardships that have left him in a very difficult place. A few years ago, his mother passed away due to cancer while working with him at the same location. He moved into her home and took on more debt, which has been a heavy burden. Over time, his mental and physical health have declined, and he’s struggled to find the support he needs.

Most recently, Ian suffered from poor blood flow to his legs, leading to an infection that required a partial amputation of his foot and aortic bypass surgery. Ian doesn’t have the financial means to pay his mounting medical bills, and because the nonprofit he worked for doesn’t pay into unemployment, he can’t claim those benefits while he is recovering. On top of that, his inherited home is in disrepair and needs cleaning and maintenance before he can sell it and move forward. Let's help Ian get past this incredibly challenging chapter in his life.

The funds raised will go directly toward helping Ian pay his medical bills, finance the services needed to fix his home, and relieve his debt.
