Thailand Mission Trip February 2025

Hello my name is Ian. I would like to introduce myself and an amazing serving opportunity in Thailand this February. I have a background in education from St. Cloud State University and a heart for serving the Father and the people of Thailand. I have been on 2 mission trips previously to the province of Uttaradit in northern Thailand. On these trips I have engaged with the Christian Leadership and community, volunteered teaching English at the Uttaradit Christian Academy, and had the honor and privilege of preaching the Gospel at the Full Gospel Church in Uttaradit. I feel lead to continue serving the Lord and follow the command of the Great Commission (Mathew 28:16-20). The country of Thailand is only 1.4% Christian and the province of Uttaradit is still considered an unreached, untargeted people group. As you can see the need is great.

I was excited to hear that I was asked to return again to teach English for 3 weeks at the Uttaradit Christian Academy. I am looking for people who would like to use this opportunity to partner with me and help me wear the sandals of the gospel of peace (Ephesians 6:15). Having a native English speaking teacher at their school will be a beneficial opportunity for the students. I will be aiding in their English language development which can result in better job opportunities in their future. In addition to teaching, I will be focusing on praying for and with the students and sharing my love for Jesus. Even though it is a Christian school most of the students are not Christians. More important than teaching English is the opportunity to plant the seeds of the Gospel. And I pray that they will grow and bear fruit. I am asking for your help. I have a heart to serve but I can’t do it alone. When asked who shall I send and who will go for us? I respond, Here am I. Send me (Isaiah 6:8).

By partnering with me you will be part of this journey along with me. You will be reaching children you have never met and you will have an impact on their lives. I am asking you to prayerfully consider being a blessing to these children of Thailand. Whether we reach many or few all Heaven rejoices when one sinner is saved over the 99 who are redeemed. (Luke 15:7)

My goal is to raise $4,025 to cover the cost of the mission. The travel expenses are as follows: International flight $2,200, Domestic flight $250, $100 bus and taxi transportation, $575 for 3 weeks lodging in Uttaradit 2 nights Bangkok 2 nights Chiang Mai, $600 for meals, $300 for travel insurance.
