This spring, our friend and community member Ian Crosbie was diagnosed with Stage 3 colorectal cancer. Ian is a hardworking dairy farmer, a devoted husband to Nicole, and a proud father to two amazing kids—Kade and Elle.
Ian is the kind of person who shows up for everyone else. Whether it’s through his work on the farm, his role as a councillor for the RM of Caron No. 162, or his countless hours volunteering in the community and dairy industry, Ian is always ready to lend a hand. Now, it’s our turn to show up for him.
As Ian undergoes an intense treatment journey—including, radiation, chemotherapy, surgery, and recovery—the financial strain is growing. This fundraiser will help ease the burden of medical costs, travel expenses, and the impact on the family’s daily life while Ian focuses on healing.
If you know Ian, you know how strong, humble, and generous he is. Let’s rally around him and his family with the same support and kindness they’ve shown so many of us.
When a loved one is diagnosed with cancer it’s hard to know what to do to help. I know Ian and Nicole mentioned not really wanting a fundraiser but this go fund me is just as much for Ian and his family as it is for his loved ones. This is one of many tools where loved ones can show their support to Ian, Nicole, Kade and Elle. Please donate if you’re able but other ways to show support can be shown through texts, calls, visits, offering a ride to treatments, child care, meals and so forth.
Every donation, big or small, means the world. If you’re not able to give, please consider sharing this page.
Thank you for standing with Ian in his fight.
