Black Aesthetics has invited me to share my first evening-length piece, I Am Swimming with Zaza at Judson Memorial Church this Fall. I Am Swimming with Zaza will premiere on September 10, 2025, at 7 pm (FREE).

I Am Swimming with Zaza explores an ongoing intimacy between fact and the fantastical, real and imagined. Zaza is a six-person dance piece and a visual meditation rooted in Colombian-Caribbean spirit traditions concerned with adapting ancestral rituals for a contemporary world.

Your funds will support this project by contributing to artist's fees, costume materials, stage props, documentation, and snacks and hydration for the rehearsal period.
