Dear friends and family,
As many of you have seen or heard, Jamaica has been hit by the devastating effects of Hurricane Melissa, which was a category 5 when it made landfall. Entire communities like Content Gap in the Blue Mountains, have been washed away or left in ruins. Whole neighborhoods are submerged, and many families have lost everything they hold dear. The scale of destruction is overwhelming, and the need for aid is more urgent than ever.
In these moments of despair, hope and help are our strongest weapons. We are committed to providing immediate relief—distributing food, water, toiletries, and clothing directly to those stranded without essentials. We are also helping families who have lost their roofs by providing zinc and plywood so they can start rebuilding their homes and find shelter once again.
Our focus is on supporting our beloved Jamaica—particularly the communities around the Freedom Skatepark in Bull Bay, as well as St. Thomas, Content Gap. These are vibrant, tight-knit communities that are now facing unimaginable hardships. Many have lost their homes, their livelihoods, and their sense of security.
Jamaica needs all of our help—your help—more than ever. Your donation, no matter how small, can bring relief to someone in desperate need. If you’re unable to give financially, sharing this campaign to raise awareness can make a difference in reaching others who can help.
Our team members are all volunteers, 100% of donations will go to those in need. Freedom Skatepark Foundation USA is a registered 501c3, your donations are tax deductible.
Please join us in making a tangible impact. Together, we can bring hope, aid, and the promise of rebuilding to those who have lost everything. Any help at all is greatly appreciated.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
