I am reaching out on behalf of a kind, loving, brave little boy who was recently diagnosed with Medulloblastoma - news that has turned his family’s world upside down.

What started as flu-like symptoms quickly turned into something far more serious when doctors discovered a large mass growing at the back of his brain. Hunter was rushed into emergency surgery, and thankfully, surgeons were able to remove the tumor. While the operation went well, his journey is far from over.

Hunter now faces 6-8 weeks of proton radiation treatment in New York City, where his parents will take turns traveling with him so that he always has the love and support of his family by his side. This will be followed be 6-8 months of intensive chemotherapy.

Throughout this incredibly difficult time, his parents- who are always the first to lend a hand to anyone in need- are now the ones in need of our help. The emotional and financial toll of travel, time away from work, and home is immense. In addition to the medical and financial challenges, the family is also facing the emotional difficulty of being separated from their daughter during long stretches of treatment. Our goal is to lift some of the burden so that they can focus on being there for their son every step of the way. Funds will go directly to the family to assist with travel, meals, lost income while taking time off of work, and other day-to-day needs.
