Hello, my name is Hunter, I'm a 22 year old college student. I'm an aspiring biochemist major who is currently attending the University of Pittsburgh, and this upcoming year I'm transferring to the University of Pennsylvania to finish my bachelor's degree. Late last year I was diagnosed with stage 3C Melanoma (agressive skin cancer). During my diagnosis and the beginning of treatment I was struggling with acquiring medical insurance. Unfortunately, my medical debt has risen to a point beyond what I am capable of taking care of by myself. I've been required to pay 10% of all bills upfront which has amounted to $4,000+ a month at a minimum. I've had several small surgeries, procedures, biopsies, and weekly chemotherapy. After going through all of the previous treatments options they have decided my best bet for survival would be to get a treatment involving my T-Cells. These types of treatments are known to be incredibly expensive. Any help would be appreciated, and god bless everyone's souls. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me.
