Double Your Impact — Help Finish the Willow Creek Bike Park
Hello Trinity River community and beyond,
We’re launching a $30,000 Community Match Campaign to finish the Willow Creek Bike Park — and right now, every dollar you give will be doubled.
Your Donation = 2X Impact
Two major partners have stepped up:
The Willow Creek Community Services District — $15,000 match
The Redwood Coast Mountain Biking Association (RCMBA) — $15,000 match
That means every dollar donated will be matched — up to $30,000 total.
Now it’s our turn as a community to step up, match that momentum, and bring this project across the finish line.
Right now, options for youth recreation in Willow Creek are limited. This park changes that — creating a dedicated, all-ages space where kids can ride, build skills, and connect with others in a safe, positive environment. It’s not just a park — it’s an investment in the health and future of our community.
Built by the Community — From Day One
Since 2021, this project has grown from a grassroots vision—sparked by the Living Waters Foundation, supported by the District, and built in partnership with the Humboldt Skatepark Collective from the beginning.
What started as a local effort has become a space where riders of all ages can connect, progress, and ride.
Now, we’re building its next evolution.
A Major Upgrade is Underway
With support from a California Prop 68 Rural Recreation and Tourism grant, the park is being redesigned and rebuilt by the Redding Trail Alliance.
The new design includes a fully paved pump track — creating a durable, low-maintenance, year-round riding surface for:
Bikes
Skateboards
Scooters
roller skates
And more
Mountain biking along the Highway 299 corridor is blowing up—linking Redding Weavearville, Willow Creek and the Humboldt Bay Area like never before. Riders are already moving back and forth between these zones, and the Willow Creek Bike Park adds the perfect stop along the way. Quick laps, progression, and a place to connect—right off the highway. It’s not just a local park, it’s a key piece of the ride corridor—and it makes the whole region way more fun to explore.
The Final Push
Due to rising costs — especially fuel, we’re facing a significant final funding gap.
This campaign is the last push to get this project done.
All donations are hosted through the Humboldt Skatepark Collective, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and are fully tax-deductible.
Every dollar goes directly toward construction.
Make Your Impact Count
Whether it’s $25, $100, or $500 — your donation will be matched and will directly help complete this project.
Your support will:
Help complete construction of the bike park
Ensure a safe, accessible space for all skill levels and enhance youth recreations option here in the Trinity River region.
Strengthen a community-driven project that will serve Willow Creek for years to come
Every Dollar Counts — And Right Now, Every Dollar is Matched
If you’re able to give, we’d greatly appreciate your support.
Let’s finish this — together.
Thank you for being part of this collaborative process.
