Help Hugo Fight & Return Stronger

Hugo is more than just a teammate—he’s a brother, a competitor, and a fighter. As an international student-athlete at UC Riverside, Hugo has dedicated himself to both his studies and his passion for tennis. He is currently pursuing his degree in Business while competing on the UC Riverside Men’s Tennis Team, balancing academics and athletics with an unwavering commitment to excellence.

But now, Hugo faces his toughest challenge yet. Recently, he received the shocking news that he has cancer. In order to receive the best possible treatment, Hugo must return to France, leaving behind his teammates, friends, and the life he has built here in the U.S.

This journey will be physically, emotionally, and financially demanding. As a student-athlete far from home, Hugo needs our support now more than ever. Medical expenses, travel costs, and the burden of stepping away from school and competition all add up. Our goal is to alleviate some of this stress so Hugo can focus entirely on what matters most—his health and recovery.

Hugo is a fighter on and off the court, and we know he will take on this battle with the same strength, determination, and heart that he brings to every match. Let’s rally together as a team, as a community, and as a family to support him.
