Huellitas de Acero A.C. is a nonprofit dog rescue and shelter in Oaxaca, Mexico, providing safety, love, and care to more than 100 dogs and puppies who call it home.

Running the shelter costs about $3,500 USD each month, which covers essentials like food, clean water, medicine, veterinary care, rent, electricity, and the wages of two full-time caregivers who keep everything running smoothly.

Dedicated volunteers give their time and energy every day to care for the dogs and raise much-needed funds, but it’s always a challenge to make ends meet.
