Hey everyone, this is Hudson! He is our nine year old Yorkie. We got him during the COVID pandemic and he has been our buddy since. He’s the sweetest dog and means the world to us.

As of December 11th, 2025, Hudson tore his ACL in his back right leg and is now in urgent need of surgery. Unfortunately, due to a series of unexpected emergency expenses over the past month, we’re struggling to cover the cost. The surgery and related care could cost up to $6,000 (not the final estimate).

Hudson is otherwise a healthy, active dog with many years ahead of him (up to 8-10 years left)! And we don’t want him to spend them in pain or with limited mobility.

The sooner he has surgery, the better his recovery and the lower the risk of injury to his other leg.
