Hudson Charette was recently struck by a car and is now facing serious, life-changing injuries. His parents, Brian and Jen, are navigating an incredibly challenging recovery process while managing overwhelming medical expenses. Please donate here to help cover surgeries, treatments, housing in a live-in rehabilitation facility, medical equipment, and at-home care. All contributions will go directly to Brian and Jen for Hudson’s treatment. Any funds beyond his needs will be donated to a charity supporting spinal cord injury research and care. – Hudson’s uncle, Steven
From Jen and Brian:
"We are heartbroken to share that on Wednesday evening our oldest son, Hudson Charette, was struck by a car on a highway. His injuries are severe and life altering. He is being cared for at Highland Hospital in Oakland. He will be in the ICU for a number of weeks. He has had one neurosurgery on his spine. Today he’s having a second surgery to repair some of the many broken bones in his body. There will be more surgeries to come. His brain scans are clear However he is in unstable condition. This is going to be an extremely long and difficult recuperation. Right now his lower body is not responding to stimulus. They are unable to say if he will regain the ability to walk. Hudson, Brian, Silas, and I need all the love and support that our family, friends, and community can offer."
