Sweet Hudson needs our support! He was recently admitted to UCSF Children’s Hospital and is in critical care as he battles an E. coli infection. His parents, Nichole and Dylan, and sister are traveling from Tuolumne County to be with him and need help covering their travel expenses.

Hudson is four-and-a-half-years old and is a sweet, kind, and strong young man. He used all of his strength to say, “I love you,” to his mom as he went to be intubated. That’s the kind of sweetheart he is.

Hudson started to struggle to breathe even with support, so they intubated him last night and put him on a ventilator, and he is now sedated. His lungs and airway had a lot of fluid, more than expected. They thought he might have blood clots in his lungs but ruled that out. They are starting dialysis, hoping that it helps clear the excess fluid.

Thankfully, he is moving his arm and leg on the side affected by the stroke.

We are all praying for a speedy recovery, but realistically, he will need to be at the hospital for at least four weeks.
