Support HSA Band's Musical Journey to Nashville

Hello! I am Mr. Phillips. I am the Band Director at Horizon Science Academy in McKinley Park, Chicago. At HSA, we have a small band program of extremely hard working and passionate band students. We are currently planning our bands first out of state trip.

In order to ensure the trip is affordable for our students, the band is going to pay for a large portion of the cost- $10,000 dollars.

The band will be traveling to Nashville, Tennessee. Here, they will experience and learn about the many careers in music you can have. They will play for Vanderbilt faculty and get a tour of campus. They will record a piece in RCA Studio B, and get a tour of how music is recorded. They will see a show at the Grand Ole Opry, and get a tour of what backstage workers do.

This will be extremely beneficial for our band students.
