Hello, I’m Peyton. I’m a fifteen-year-old member of Howie's family. This GoFundMe is to raise money for a surgery for my dog, Howie. The reason Howie requires surgery is due to his pelvis being broken at some point in his life, and when it healed, it did not heal correctly. This causes Howie to not have strength in his back left leg. This also could cause many health problems in the future for Howie. He is a young dog, only two years old, and this surgery could help improve his life.

We suspect he was most likely hit by a car, causing his injury. He was fostered, and we took him in after this. The foster parent was not aware of this injury, but we noticed it and took him to the vet. They did an x-ray, and this is how we found out. He was found on a highway near where I live, and I hope this surgery could help Howie out. He is a huge part of the family with the small time he’s been with us. He means the world to us, but the surgery is way too expensive, and I hope this can help make it more affordable. Even if you can’t help, thank you for reading his story.
