Hi! My name is Daniel. I have called Bowling Green, Kentucky my home for over a decade, though I have been houseless for the past 2 years. These are difficult times for everybody; I was hit especially hard by a series of personal tragedies and on-going health issues, and it's been very difficult to get back on my feet. I am currently living in a tent with my loving partner David, who is struggling with progressive dementia. I am grateful for David's support, the generosity of my friends and aid from community organizations like BG Neighbors Aid Network, but I need more help to take the next steps toward a safer and more stable life. David and I have been able to find a 25 foot 2000 Fleetwood Prowler 5th wheel trailer for sale. It's in great shape, with a clean title, and really could be the home the we have been praying for! We have budgeted for the lot rental and utilities, but do not have the funds to purchase the trailer. For $3,000 these unhoused members of the LGBTQ+ community could have a home.
