On April 30th, our world was turned upside down when my husband, Hoss, was diagnosed with moderate aortic valve stenosis. We learned he would need quadruple bypass open-heart surgery on May 8th. The news was devastating for our family, and we are still coming to terms with the challenges ahead. Hoss will be in the ICU for three days and in the hospital for six days, and I will be traveling over three hours one way with our special needs daughter to be by his side.

Hoss is a man of integrity, unwavering in his love for his family. He is a wonderful dad to Josh, Justin, and his princess Jenny, and his proudest moment was becoming a Papaw. After 39 years of marriage, our love story is still going strong, and we are holding onto hope and faith as we face this together.
