My husband, Hoshin Maeda, dedicated his life to serving others and working for the betterment of our society. He wasn't perfect but a sincere and loving person, always striving to be a good son and to help build a world of love and peace with his family and people of all faiths. Sadly, Hoshin recently and suddenly passed away on Saturday, February 7th, after a difficult battle with stomach cancer that spread to his spine, ribs, and collarbone. He suffered tremendously during his illness, spending time at home and then two weeks in the hospital. Our family is heartbroken by this loss and is struggling to cope with the emotional and financial challenges that have followed.

We are doing our best to give Hoshin a dignified burial and to honor his memory, but the costs of his medical care and funeral expenses are overwhelming. We are reaching out to Hoshin's church community, friends, and all caring people who knew him or were touched by his life. Your prayers, positive thoughts, and any contributions you can make will help us send him off with love and support our family as we navigate this difficult time.
