Support Horacio Mata's Fight Against Cancer

Hello, I truly appreciate you taking the time to read my story. My family is in need of some help and anything that can be donated is greatly appreciated.

My dad Horacio Mata had been with health issues for a couple of months and my family and I had been taking him to different doctors in order to get a diagnosis on his health. On October 30th he was admitted to the ER due to blood clots in his legs. There the doctors preformed a CT Scan that showed masses on both his pancreas and his liver. A biopsy was then conducted and he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer that has metastasized to his liver. This was devastating news to me and my family.

Horacio is a loving father to me and my two brothers. He is a hardworking man that works everyday to provide everything for his family. His family has always been his priority. He worked hard along my mom (Reyna) to give me and my older brother a college education. When he was not at work we was at home taking care of my younger autistic brother. He is a man of faith and attended church. He reads his bible on a daily basis and as of today his faith is what is keeping him strong through this unexpected and difficult situation. His faith in God is so strong that he has been using it as a string of hope for what is to come. He does not pitty himself and instead uses his situation to spread the word of God.

Any money donated will be used for his hospital bills, medication and home care which will accumulate due to him not having health insurance. He will be undergoing chemo and these funds will aid our family in now providing for all his needs. Any leftover funds will be kept by my mom in order to provide for my younger autistic brother and for her to stay afloat after not working in order to take care of him.
