Hi! This is Hopper! He is a 8 week old semi-tripod kitten. He lost half his leg due to his mother’s umbilical cord wrapping around it when he was born. When he was born, there was no one around so it went unnoticed and therefore his natural amputation did not heal correctly at all. I received him on Sunday (12/28). His leg was perfectly fine until yesterday (1/1), his leg began to show signs of infection and that is when the infection was at its peak. He was taken to an emergency veterinary on 1/1 and they declared that he had a 106 fever and his infection had come through. He is currently on antibiotics, pain killers, and an external disinfectant, but he still has an open wound. He goes back to the vet on Monday (1/5). I am asking for donations for his full amputation on Monday. Anything helps! Please consider donating or sharing to others!
