Anyone who knows our family, knows that Hope came into our lives when we were feeling the need for some “hope” to hang on to. In Oct. 2018 we surprised Becca with a sweet little puppy, who she promptly named Hope. Not all the days ahead were easy ones for Becca, or our family, but Becca has been blessed to have Hope as her sweet companion.

A few weeks ago, Hope injured her back leg and stopped bearing weight on it. A vet visit, and an Xray later, she has been diagnosed as having a complete tear of her cranial cruciate ligament. Not news we wanted to hear, as this ligament will not heal on it’s own. Surgery is one option, but a very, very costly one, with a strict recovery time. Another option is to have her fitted with a brace that will hold her leg in a position that will hold her bones in the correct position for her knee to form scar tissue. After wearing the brace for 9 months, she should have her mobility back.

Becca would never ask for financial help, but she has had a month of car, vet & other bills, and we thought perhaps someone would like to bless her with a little help towards the cost of the brace for Hope. Please don’t feel obliged to help, but if you would like to help contribute towards the $899 cost of the brace, it would be so appreciated!
