Support for Lee-Ann MacArthur Hamlin

Our mother, Lee-Ann MacArthur Hamlin, is one of the strongest women in the entire world. She has been a Registered Nurse for 32 years and loves helping others. Now she needs your help.
In October she went to the doctor for severe hip pain and they found a tumor on her hip which required immediate surgery. On November 26th, 2019 she went in for a hip replacement and the tumor was benign (thank goodness).
Her recovery was going well, and on December 24th, as we were celebrating Christmas Eve her hip dislocated and she could not move. She was taken out by ambulance and put under so they could get it back into place.
On Monday February 3rd, she got the “okay” from her orthopedic surgeon to return to work, which she was so happy about. On Friday February 7th, four days later, her hip dislocated again requiring another 911 call and a trip to the hospital to reset her hip into the correct position.
After seeing her orthopedic surgeon February 10th, she is scheduled for another emergency hip surgery next week to prevent possible dislocation and to help with the excruciating pain.
In 1972, when Lee-Ann was 11 years old, she was hit by a car while riding her bicycle and has suffered with multiple surgeries to reconstruct her bones and body.
In Feb. 2015 our father passed away, and in July 2015 she was diagnosed with Stage II Breast Cancer. She went through a lumpectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation while keeping positive spirits and she still was working full-time through her battle.
Lee-Ann is the type of person that would give anyone the shirt off her back or help when needed. She has been out of work since mid-November and is financially struggling without any source of income. Her five kids have helped as much as they can financially and emotionally.
We are asking out of the kindness of your heart if you can help us reach our goal to support Lee-Ann during this difficult time we would really appreciate it. To lift the financial burden would be such a blessing during this very difficult time. We do not want her to worry financially and want her to focus on getting better and healing.
All funds raised will go directly to ongoing medical bills, and the costs associated with living (mortgage, health insurance, oil, electricity, etc.).
