Support Honey's Path to Full Recovery

Hello fellow animal lovers,

Honey (sweet baby pictured above) and her human, Lauren, are doing everything they can to get Honey back to normal post-TPLO surgery. Honey had a rough life as a young dog before Lauren met her, including an abusive home. Injuries sustained in Honey's first home have caused Arthritis in her back hips / knees, which has now progressed to Osteoarthritis. Honey underwent TPLO and Menicus correction surgery on March 17th, and is on a rigorous treatment plan of Laser Therapy 3x a week, Physical Therapy and Hydrotherapy once a week, Adequan injections (arthritis treatment) twice a week, and Dasuquin (joint supplement) twice a week. Lauren has poured all of her money and credit limit into Honey's care, gotten an additional job, and took advantage of her veterinary employee discount as much as possible, but still has to fund 8-10 more weeks of post-surgery therapy and supplements before Honey regains her normal strength. One of Honey's favorite things is to go hiking with her humans, so it's imperative she receive all of her treatment plan outlined by her healthcare providers and specialists. Honey's treatment time will be re-evaluated regularly by her Veterinarian and Physical Therapist, which will include regular radiographs to ensure her joint and muscle are healing properly.
