Support (Homeless) Jim's Auto Repair and Mobility

Hi,

You might remember me from a fundraiser a friend of mine, Jeff Ranjo, organized for me a year and a half ago. I’m an artist who, due to poor health, isn’t able to work anymore. Thanks to the support from that previous GoFundMe, I was able to get a new-to-me auto and afford food.

Since then, I’ve been living in my auto in a small town just outside of Sacramento. Usually, I park my auto in a parking lot near the police station, for maximum safety. The police have been okay with that, as long as the auto can be moved during the day. It’s cold here, so I spend my days going to the library. At night, I warmup the auto, turn it off and then bundle up in my sleeping bag. My auto takes me to the store for food and to 24 hr Fitness where I take showers. I am not in good health, so I have not been able to work. I’ve been hanging on, living this out of my car

my current dilemma now is my Auto has broken down again and I’m stranded at the Auto Shop. Apparently transmission problems have plagued me once more. Good thing is I have a small income with Social Security but not enough to cover my repairs. I really need help to fill the gap so I can get mobile and back on the road. Anything will help but I need to generate the funds within a week as I can’t stay here in this lot long. I know everybody these days are hurting but I’ve got my hat out asking for help. Thank you

Sincerely Jim
