Home Green Home is a Latina and worker-owned cooperative based in San Francisco, California, offering eco-friendly home and office cleaning services. The funds collected from GoFundMe will help us provide the necessary income to cover our member's basic needs -such as rent and food- over the next couple of months. We have more than 11 years of experience, working for our clients in the San Francisco Area. We had just recruited one new member when  COVID-19 struck and the shelter-in-place order forced us to shut down. Most of our members are immigrants, some of us are heads of families and some others have children and no further support than the income coming from this activity.


We are very grateful for the support we have received from our incredible clients so far. Some of them have offered to pay for their services even if we are not able to provide them.


Please consider making a donation to Home Green Home so that we can sustain our members. We are definitely acting as a family in these critical times. We want to be prepared to open up for business at full capacity once the shelter-in-place order has been lifted on (hopefully) May 4th (the date given by San Francisco County at the time of writing).

Update: GoFundMe has told us to add Alicia Macias' name since as some of you know, she is one of the founders of our co-op. Alicia has been an owner of Home Green Home since its origin in 2009. As a founder, she is one of the signers of our business bank account, that's why she's the beneficiary of this campaign. In the end, we plan to distribute the recollected donations in equal parts to all of our 10 members.
