My name is Araven Wiggins, also known as Chef Rae — Executive Chef, entrepreneur, and founder of The Hot Box 305

based out of South Florida.

Cooking has never been just a job for me — it’s my purpose, my passion, and the foundation of the life I’ve been building since 2019. Inspired by both of my grandmothers and raised around food, family, and culture, I turned my love for culinary arts into a business at only 22 years old. What started as a dream quickly became something much bigger: creating unforgettable food experiences that bring people together.

Over the years, I’ve worked tirelessly to grow The Hot Box 305 from the ground up while balancing everyday life, personal sacrifices, and working full-time jobs to continue funding my vision. Through hard work, faith, consistency, and the support of my community, I’ve been blessed with opportunities to serve private clients, luxury events, brunches, pop-ups, intimate dinners, and celebrations throughout South Florida.

But now, I’m ready for the next level.

The goal of this fundraiser is to help secure a commercial kitchen space and continue developing The Hot Box 305 into a fully operational culinary brand and experience company. This next chapter will allow me to legally and professionally expand meal prep services, private catering operations, product development, cooking classes, pop-up events, and community outreach efforts.

This funding will go toward:

Commercial kitchen and commissary rental costs

Licensing and permits

Kitchen equipment and storage

Catering inventory and supplies

Product packaging and labeling

Marketing and website development

Staffing and operational growth

Community food initiatives and future culinary programs

One thing I’m most proud of is that The Hot Box 305 has always been about more than food. Throughout my journey, I’ve made efforts to give back through food drives, community support, helping families during difficult times, and creating experiences that leave lasting memories. I want this business to become something that not only represents great food, but also inspiration, culture, creativity, and opportunity.
