Ta'sha is creating this fundraiser for her mom, Tonya, who is facing more than any one person should have to carry. Tonya is living with lupus, breast cancer, heart failure, high blood pressure, and neuromyelitis optica. Right now, Tonya cannot walk, bathe herself, or get into bed on her own, and she needs a high level of daily support. Her family loves her deeply and wants to be there every step of the way, but they are not able to provide the full-time care she now needs. Ta'sha lives on the opposite side of town, about 40 minutes away, and is doing everything possible while also running a business. Tonya’s daughter, Da'sha, is a single mother working two jobs, and Tonya’s son lives in Las Vegas. Even with everyone doing their best, Tonya needs dependable home health care.
