Hi, my name is Mya, and I'm raising funds to help save the life of my 1-year-old cat, Holstein.

Holstein has been diagnosed with a rare and life-threatening condition called non-regenerative immune-mediated anemia — a disease where his immune system attacks his own bone marrow, preventing it from making red blood cells. It's not caused by injury or infection — it’s his own body shutting down one of the most essential functions for life.

This past month, Holstein has endured:

And most recently, a shift to aggressive dual immunosuppressive therapy — combining high-dose steroids with cyclosporine. Despite everything, Holstein is still fighting. Still screams for food, and still curious about everything around him, and I’m doing everything in my power to give him the chance he deserves.

Unfortunately, the cost of keeping him alive has grown overwhelming. Between transfusions, medications, specialist care, and monitoring, his treatment has already cost thousands — and we’re not at the end of this road yet. I have pet insurance but have already exhausted the coverage for the year.
