Support Holly's race to Triathlon Worlds!

In 2019, Sydney (my sister) asked if I would be willing to try something new with her - doing a Triathlon. As with many things due to COVID, it was canceled, and after a heart breaking defeat in my personal relationships, I needed a goal more than ever.

In 2021 I signed up for an Olympic distance triathlon, 1 mile swim, 26 mile bike, 6.2 mile run. I had never open water swim, only ridden a used Crosstrek bike a couple of times, and some local 5Ks to my running repertoire but I was determined to see what I could do. I went on to finish that race in 2:45:17, since then I have podiumed in my age group many times and placed top overall female at PA Nationals

Last Summer, I qualified for USAT Nationals in Milwaukee. After a devastating DNF due to a flat in the Olympic distance, my coach encouraged me to shake it off and race the Sprint the following day. I did, and came 8th in my age group, qualifying me for Triathlon Worlds 2024 in Malaga, Spain!

This gives me the opportunity to compete and represent team USA alongside the best elite and professional triathletes in the world. If any of you saw the recent Sprint finish for Silver at the Olympic games, you got a taste of how exciting and intense this sport can be. With that, it is an expensive endeavor and so I am asking for any support you feel able to give. The money I raise here will go towards my race fees, travel, accommodations, food, and health insurance.
