My sister, Holly Woods, is currently facing a medical emergency and is in the hospital and unable to work. A week ago today, on 9/8, she woke up with a headache and some weakness and tingling in her left arm, but the next morning she couldn’t lift her arm, and by that afternoon she couldn’t lift either arm. She’s been in the hospital now for almost a week, and they have no solid answers. She now is unable to feed herself, walk, or do her normal daily functions by herself. She is also in tremendous pain. They believe it could possibly be Guillain-Barre Syndrome, but are not 100% positive. Currently, her breathing is at 40%, and they typically intubate at 20%, we are being told. Hopefully, this does not happen.

My sister is a mom and a grandma; she is a rock and the sole provider for her home. During this time, she is unable to work, which means she has no income coming in. She is honestly one of the most amazing people with such a huge heart and will do anything for anyone. Anytime I’ve called her for help, she has dropped everything and been there. I wish I could be with her right now, but unfortunately, I cannot.

Please help if you can, I know how much of a stressor this is for her and will be. We would appreciate any of your support.
