Support Holland's Education After Tragic Loss

It's hard for me to even believe that I'm writing this. The words don't make sense, at least they don't in my mind. We're still reeling from the news we received late last night. However, I'm asking for your support. You see, my granddaughter Holland is a student at Forest Ridge Academy, an exemplary school that has done an amazing job teaching the next generation of leaders . . . our kids!

This is the part that's hard to understand or believe. Holland's dad, a nearly 20-year police officer vet who served in St. John, IN, passed away from a heart attack at the age of 44 while playing hockey, something he's done for years as part of his fitness routine. His name was Aaron (pictured above) and he was a good cop, commander of the SWAT in our area, and a great dad to Holland. He and my daughter wanted to send Holland to a great school, because she's very smart and equally sweet and polite. And so they chose Forest Ridge Academy in Schererville, IN. But FRA is costly, like any private school. And now that my daughter is the only income it will be a bit more difficult to pay that tuition, which can run $14-18K annually. Many have asked how to help, and we're grateful for your generosity. So, that's why we've created this GoFundMe campaign. And thanks, too, for your kind words, prayers and encouragement as we maneuver through this difficult time!
