Please help us raise funds for a Special Needs Mini Golf Program created by Hole In One Heroes and Team Marvels! This is a great experience that Island Green Westminster will host for a bunch of MARVELOUS Kids!

How it all started:

Hi, my name is Kim Petry. I am a grandmother (Nanny) to Greyson, who has Autism and plays on a special needs baseball team called Team Marvels.

This idea of a special needs mini golf program started with my husband and I playing in a mini golf league at Island Green. We have played there now for three years and have met so many wonderful and friendly people. So, towards the end of the season, I thought it would be cool to bring out some special kids for a golf day. When I reached out to my son-in-law Mike, asking him his thoughts on a golf outing for some special kids, he immediately responded, “Sounds great, let's see what you can find out!" We then approached Tyler at Island Green about having a one-day golf outing for the kids. Without hesitation, he said, "Let's do it! I'll get back to you next Tuesday for a date." And not only did he get back to us…he made it a total of FOUR dates with an all-inclusive, no charge mini golf for the kids! We were utterly BLOWN AWAY and humbled by his generosity and thoughtfulness.

It was then when we reached out to Team Marvels so we could incorporate the outings and all the players! We knew this was a no brainer, since Greyson played this past season with his baseball team and loved every minute of it!

This has been such an awesome few weeks, coordinating all the moving parts to get this event together. We cannot thank Tyler and the Island Green staff for their generosity and opportunity to make this happen. So, please stay tuned for updates and pictures of our four events!
