Support HitQuarters: Creative Hub at Risk

Donation protected
WE’RE BEING PUSHED OUT OF THE VERY SPACE WE BUILT.

HitQuarters Studios was the first to move onto this floor. We were invited into what was promised to be a creative, affordable floor, and a place where Black-owned businesses could thrive.

And we showed up.

We filled the space with art, vision, structure, and purpose. We brought people together. We built something meaningful. But after just one year of growth and success, we’ve been hit with a sudden 190% rent increase — with no chance to even prepare. We’re not just losing a location. We’re being forced out of a space we poured everything into — financially, creatively, and emotionally.
This is about being priced out. And we need your help.

WHAT HITQUARTERS REPRESENTS
I’m Ronald Wilson, a touring musician, producer, former educator, and founder of HitQuarters Studios.
I hold a Master’s in Strategic Communication from Troy University, am a proud graduate of Alabama State University, and a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. When I opened HitQuarters, I wanted to do more than run a studio, I wanted to build an engine for independent artists, students, producers, and professionals.
In one year, we’ve made good on that vision.

We’ve collaborated with The Community ATL from the ground level, hosting their rehearsals, shows, tapings, and writing sessions. We’ve produced dozens of viral videos, hosted music camps, and served as a trusted mentorship site for rising creatives.
OUR IMPACT IN JUST ONE YEAR
- Hosted signature programs like The Hit List, Producer Summer Camp, Camp Creative Control, Low Key Wednesdays with J. Howard, and The Community Choir Session
- Produced viral content that has reached over 50 million views across platforms
- Offered mentorship, internships, and opportunity for emerging talent
- Maintained an environment of peace, professionalism, and purpose
- Became the home base for The Community ATL and countless creatives
- Welcomed respected and iconic guests, including:
Keke Wyatt, Lil Duval, Blackstone, Jagged Edge, Jazze Pha, Zaytoven, Sammie, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Alton Walker, Mr. TrappJazz, Band of Brothas, Jubu Smith, J. Howard, Lawrence Flowers, Travis Malloy, Deanna Dixon and a host of others

WHAT WE’RE FACING
We are being displaced due to a rent hike we were never meant to survive, despite doing everything right, and contributing immeasurably to the creative ecosystem of the building and the city.
WHAT’S AT STAKE
- A vital creative home in Atlanta for independent Black talent
- A peaceful, professional studio with an undeniable track record
- A space where musicians, students, engineers, and brands collaborate
- The continuation of powerful programs and cultural moments
HOW YOU CAN HELP
We’re raising $15,000 to:
- Secure a new home for HitQuarters Studios
- Cover moving, soundproofing, and rebuild costs
- Sustain our events, programs, and team during the transition
- Re-establish our momentum and mission in a permanent space
THIS IS BIGGER THAN US
HitQuarters has become iconic in just one year , not because of followers, but because of impact. We’ve made artists feel seen. We’ve made students feel capable. We’ve made music with meaning. And we’re just getting started.
