On Saturday march 14 2026 our good friend , brother in law , husband ,son ,brother and good friend to many experienced a devastating spinal cord injury while doing what he loves the most racing dirt bikes with his friends . He was doing practice day getting ready for race day when he went to hit a big jump .. unfortunately wasn’t able to clear the jump and bounced off the bike sending him flying in the air and landing straight on his butt breaking several bones on his lower back and damaging the spinal cord .. from one second to another life changed for him .. he had to get air lifted to the hospital where doctors quickly discovered that several bones were severely broken and were causing damage to the spinal cord … surgeons performed a complex 4 hour open back surgery operation to stabilize his spine witch required several screws and metals in his lower back . As a result of the Injury doctors are now saying he has only 1% chance that he will be able to walk again .. even though he is devastated by this very unimaginable news.. we are incredibly grateful that he still has full use of his arms and upper body and we’re also very grateful that he has a strong mind set and his positive attitude remains the same as we all know him he is a tough guy. As he continues his recovery he will need significant medical care , he is going to go thru a lot of therapy and he will need a lot of support financially since he was only able to qualify for emergency medical . He won’t be able to cover bills and rent due to the situation hes in Also somebody is gonna have to be home taking care of him 24/7.
