Support Hillsdale Teachers at Kubo Montessori

Dearest Parents,

We hope you and your family are in good health and safety. As you all know, we have extended our school closure until May 3, 2020 and depending on California Community Care Licensing guidelines we are bound to keep it closed until further notice from the State. As of now, we are trying to stretch out our finances to accommodate teachers’ salaries. But after accounting for our monthly paymentsfor rent,utilities, insurance payments, workers’ comp etc, we can no longer afford to give salary to ourteachers from April onwards. We have already applied to the GovernmentPaycheck Payment Program and Economic Injury DisasterLoan, but it is not that easy to get approved for this stimulus package right away. Some parents have graciously offered to help out in order to pay for teacher salaries, which inspired this message.

We welcome any help you can share. We will give whatever amount we receive directly to your locations respective teachers. We understand that during this financial crisis nothing is certain and we are just hopeful for your continued support of our Montessori school.

We really believe that we can survive this pandemic most especially with everyone’s help and participation. Thank you very much for your generosity and kind consideration.
