I am Joshua Smith, director of the James Hillhouse High School Marching Band. The Hillhouse Band has accepted the invitation to represent the state of CT in the official 2025 Memorial Day Parade in Washington, D.C. This is a 4-day/3-night trip which also features an educational tour, featuring some of the memorials (MLK, WWII, Vietnam, etc.) and more.

We are reaching out in hopes that you will help support the cost of travel, food, lodging, the educational tour, uniforms, and equipment (including repairs). We are hoping that you will support us so that our students are afforded this great opportunity.
