Update: Hillary is doing well in rehab and is making improvements. She is able to walk with a walker with minimal guidance and is making improvements with her speech and cognitive abilities. She is still in rehab for a couple more weeks but is making small improvements every day. The family is incredibly grateful

Almost two weeks ago, Hillary Hartnett was involved in a serious car accident that left her hospitalized with multiple critical injuries. While we are so grateful that she is with us and is expected to make a full recovery, her road to a full recovery will be long, painful, and challenging. She's currently unable to walk without assistance and is experiencing various neurological difficulties, and is facing months of physical and neurological therapy.

As anyone who knows her will tell you, Hillary is adored by and a critical part of her family. Her two little ones, Eloise, 2, and Nolan, 6 months, are her entire world (as well as her adored pugs Charlie and Blue)— and she’s theirs. Aside from her family, gardening is her passion — her peaceful escape, her therapy, and something she has shared joyfully with her kids and family.

Until this week, Hillary was in the ICU in DE miles away from her beautiful family in northern Jersey. With lots of prayer and Gods grace and provision, Hillary is finally being moved closer to home to soon begin her inpatient therapy and treatment. Inpatient is 24 hour care in a facility for those who face extreme conditions such as Hillary. She is unable to physically care for her kids, which she loves doing more than anything else, prayers for her would be greatly appreciated. The accident has not only affected her daily life and her family, but may also bring about unexpected costs and other expenses related to rehabilitation, transportation, home adaptations, and the additional financial burden of requiring additional household assistance.

Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward helping Hillary heal and return to the life she loves — growing things with her hands, raising her babies, and blooming again herself.
