Support Hilda Rayford: A Trailblazer in Need
Donation protected
Hilda Rayford, a 93-year-old trailblazing educator and community leader, has dedicated her life to serving others. Alongside her late husband Bennie, she made a lasting impact in Mississippi and Ohio, founding an innovative literacy and community development program in Tchula, MS. As an active lifetime member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and the ASU 1871 Club, Hilda’s legacy of service continues to inspire.
Now facing significant medical expenses, we are asking for your support to help Hilda maintain her independence and continue her fight for life. After a stroke and subsequent medical setbacks left her in a rehab facility for months, Hilda is now fighting valiantly to return home. To support her recovery, her family must now hire highly skilled caregivers to come to her home and give her constant support as she relearns how to walk, talk, and care for herself. Your generosity will help cover the burden of soaring medical costs and ease the cost of hiring such qualified caregivers. Please donate now and honor the incredible contributions she and Bennie have made to their communities by giving back to her as freely as she has given to us.
