Do you know that person who makes you smile and laugh the moment they walk in the room? The type of person who is always there to listen and help? The type of person you know cares how your day is going? We do! That person is Hilda Padilla. Hilda has many roles; she is a wife, mother, and crew member at Cane's. At Canes, she is the crew member who is always lending a helping hand, ensuring our shifts run smoothly. If it's her cheering everyone up or singing in the kitchen, we all love working with Hilda. Her days are always overloaded, yet she handles it all with a joyful heart. Hilda's days will soon be filled with some new challenges, yet nothing she can’t handle. She was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer and will be starting chemo treatments in November. Those of us who know Hilda, believe that it might be difficult for her to ask for help at this time. That’s why we, her friends at Cane's, are asking for her. Hilda is facing her diagnosis with strength and positivity. Anything that you can do to help Hilda and her family through this difficult time would be appreciated.
