Julie is raising support for Hestan Hogan, a 22-year-old college student who is currently on the heart transplant list. On August 17th, Hestan was officially placed on the heart transplant waiting list. At such a young age, Hestan is facing an overwhelming medical journey, along with the uncertainty and emotional weight that comes with waiting for a life-saving transplant. Even in the middle of this difficult season, Hestan continues to hold onto hope and purpose. Hestan is pursuing a degree in Biblical Studies and hopes to one day become a youth minister, pouring into the lives of others with faith and compassion.

As Hestan prepares for this next step, the financial burden is more than anyone should have to carry alone. Support from this fundraiser will help cover travel, lodging, meals, time away from work, medical costs, medications, and unexpected needs during Hestan’s transplant journey and recovery, including relocating to Dallas for surgery and the long recovery ahead.
