Our beloved Hermes is facing a battle no one should ever have to endure. While at work he became ill and rushed to the hospital. He was experiencing a major internal brain bleed causing him to need emergency surgery. Hermes was previously a victim of an unprovoked attack in the train station. Shoved down a flight of stairs and suffered a head injury on his way home from work. This incident remained dormant until now. With the brain bleed he also suffered a massive stroke, complicating the surgery. Not only was a portion of his scull removed, so was a piece of his brain. The doctors do not know the extent of the brain damage but we all know there is a long road ahead.

Hermes’ life has been turned upside down. As we reach a month of him not fully awakening from a coma. The urgency of his situation becomes more pressing than ever.

Hermes is a kind, hardworking and loved gentleman. For those lucky enough to know him, he is truly a blessing. But now, more than ever, he needs our support. The absence of his salary has placed an overwhelming financial strain on his wife. They need a glimmer of hope, a moment of relief as we continue to pray for his recovery.
