Support Herb's Recovery and Financial Stability

Hey y’all! 

 I’m Shanna, Herb and Lisa are my in-laws. 

 As you may know, Herb had a double bypass and valve replacement done on Friday, April 12th 2024. The Monday before, April 8th, he left the work site he was at because he had very bad heartburn that wasn’t going away. The only time it wasn’t horrible was when he would sit down but after a while, that wasn’t working so he decided to go to the closest hospital. They did a bunch of tests and imaging which came back fine. After the doctor talked to him, the doctor noticed a few red flags so he admitted him Monday night. They performed an angioplasty and found that one artery was 90% blocked and another one was 98% blocked. The doctor decided to do a double bypass and then a valve replacement.

 The surgery happened on Friday the 12th. Herb did excellent. He was walking around later on that evening! The doctors and nurses were surprised how well he was doing. He was released from the hospital on Monday, April 15th. 

 This is where him and his amazing wife, Lisa, needs help! His recovery time is 8-12 weeks. He can not work which is full time and main source of income for them, drive, nor play music which is an extra bit of income for them plus Lisa works full time but can’t cover every bill with just her income. Herb has no more paid time off from his job and he has no short term disability from his work. Them being down to one income is very stressful! They have all their monthly bills and will be getting hospital bills soon too. They need some type of way to help with monthly bills while Herb is recovering. 

 Everyone knows Herb, he will give his last dollar to anyone, his shirt off his back if someone needs it and he’s always right by someone’s side if they need him. He is the most generous and genuine man! Lisa is the same way! They are always the first people to show up if anyone needs anything, no matter what. They took me in to their home 5 years ago when they barely knew me and I was in need. They are the sweetest people ever!
