Support a Future Therapist on Her Final — and Hardest — Step

I’m raising funds for a dear friend who is quietly shouldering a massive challenge — one she’d never ask for help with herself, but one that I believe truly deserves support.

After years of working as a veterinary technician, she made the courageous choice to return to school in her mid-30s to become a therapist. Her goal is to help others find stability, healing, and purpose — and she’s nearly there.

She’s completed the school part, and now faces the final, most difficult hurdle: 12 to 18 months of unpaid internship hours, required for licensure. During this time, she still has to work part-time jobs just to get by — all while managing a full clinical load. It’s a balancing act that would strain anyone.

She lives alone, she’s not a big spender, and she’s not looking for handouts. But this next stretch is daunting, and the reality is that even a modest cushion could make a real difference — not in luxury, but in peace of mind. This is about helping her stay steady, mentally and emotionally, while she gives everything she has to building a life of service.

Every dollar raised will go toward basic living expenses — utilities, groceries, gas to get to and from her internship — giving her room to breathe as she dedicates herself to helping others.
